Description:  A quick timeline: The 3 PNWR engines brought a train into the yard. The 2 UP locos arrived from the south while other train was still crossing the main. Then the UP engines entered the yard and connected to their cars. Next the PNWR locos connected to their cars. Then I got this shot. You can see crew members from each train standing on the ground in a rather full yard.

Description:  The conductor in UP 3427 looks on as a UP signal maintainer is examining the tracks at Queen Ave. crossing to determine why the crossing gates have been activated for the past few hours. While common in the Midwest, it is rather unusual to see an SD40-2 leading a manifest freight on the Brooklyn Sub.
